I have also downloaded and configured the Jabra Direct software (for configuring the Jabra headset) to default to Broadsoft UC One but this has no effect on the above issue. The only way I have found to stop calls from defaulting to skype is to turn skype off BUT we need skype for our messaging. This made no different when initiating a call in our Broadsoft application or pressing the call button on the headset. I have tried changing the default communications device in Windows and modified the Custom Playback device in Skype. Once the dialtone in Skype stops, it plays the howler audio (call never initiated.loud and constant beeping tone). The Skype software is never actually part of the call, it just wants to be and creates the dialtone so that I hear my call ringing in and can have a conversation BUT Skype is still playing its dialtone and is not actually part of the call.
When I do this, Skype comes up and initiates a dialtone AND my Broadsoft application does the dialing. I would rather this use our Broadsoft application but I tried working around this by initiating a dialed call through our Broadsoft software. When I press the call button on the headset, it defaults to Skype, and initiates a dialtone. World-class listen engineering with industry-leading calls quality. I updated the Jabra driver as recommended by jabra direct. I have been testing a headset I received (Jabra GN2000) with our communication software. Open the task manager with control+alt+delete and close the IP Communicator from there 3. It would be great if you would stop emailing me.
